Facilities we offer

Woodside Lodge is located in Bransgore on the edge of the New Forest in secluded grounds covering nearly four acres. We provide high standard accommodation in 20 rooms. The 20 rooms are for single occupancy however we do provide occupancy with two larger companion rooms and 12 of our rooms have ensuite facilities. All our accommodation complies with the national minimum standard, which came into force from 1st April 2002.

We are fortunate to reside within the tranquil environment of the New Forest which boasts with an array of local amenities and scenic walks for all to enjoy. From the village of Bransgore on our doorstep to the Historic Village of Burley a short drive away, and our own private entrance to Mac Penny’s Nursery, there of plenty of local interests to satisfy all who choose Woodside Lodge as their home.

Woodside Lodge specialize in Dementia Care and have been proud to support all those who choose Woodside as their home for over 40 years.

Here at Woodside Lodge we are fortunate to have a highly regarded Medical Practice whose skilled and dedicated practioners provide medical and health care services.

Fresh home prepared cuisine, all food is freshly prepared and special diets can be catered for also lunches and dinners may be arranged for visiting guests, with prior notice.

Meals are very important to you and us, Woodside residents garden club harvest vegetables that regularly supplies our kitchen which creates home-made traditional delights ranging from steaming steak and kidney pudding to our famous fresh fruit trifle. Afternoon teas are accompanied with freshly baked homemade cakes and a selection of fresh fruit. There is a varied choice of fresh food available throughout the day and evening, and breakfast can be served in your room.

We are also pet friendly and welcome all types of animals from dogs to fish.

Other Services at an additional charge include; Hairdressing, Chiropody, Daily Newspapers, Dentists, Opticians and Dry Cleaning.

ACTIVITIES

We feel that activities at Woodside Lodge are the most important aspect of our home as they provide vital stimulation and social interaction for all.

Therefore we pride ourselves on the collection of activities we promote within the home as tailored and designed by our residents.

Some of the activities include; Music and Dancing, Exercise Classes, Gardening, Pet Therapy Days, Visiting the Local Village, Walking to Mac Pennys, Religious Services and Bingo!

At Woodside, not only do we offer Long term care we also provide Respite stays and Day Care.
